Clinical Pharmacist Participating in Consultation of One Case of Generalized Pustular Psoriasis During Pregnancy

OBJECTIVE To provide reference for clinical pharmacists to participate in the pharmacy consultation of psoriasis during pregnancy through clinical pharmacist participated in the one case of consultation. METHODS Clinical pharmacist participated in a consultation of one case of generalized pustular psoriasis during pregnancy. During the consultation, clinical pharmacist enquired about the patient's previous medication history, analyzed the risk of medication for psoriasis treatment in pregnancy, developed the individualized medication regimen for pregnancy for the patient, and conducted medical treatment monitoring for the patient during pregnancy. RESULTS Clinical pharmacist enabled the clinician to clarify the drug treatment strategy for the patient during pregnancy and also reduced the risk of medication for the patient by participated in the pharmacy consultation. CONCLUSION Clinical pharmacist plays an active and effective role in the drug treatment of pregnant patients by participating in pharmacy consultation.
