Practice and Discussion on the New Model of Hospital Medicine Education Under the Background of “Run Once at Most Reform”

OBJECTIVE To break the traditional patient medicine education and standardizes the process of medicine education under the background of the "run once at most reform". METHODS Led by hospital pharmacists, the technologies of "Internet+" "multimedia" and so on were applied to establish the knowledge base and standard operating procedures of medicine education, and various media were used to innovate the form of medicine education. RESULTS The standard operating procedures of medicine education was unified. And an effective new model of drug education was established through various forms, such as medication guidance sheet, bedside tablet computers, "one-to-one" education of discharge medicine, medication consultation clinic, follow-up visit and popular science lecture. CONCLUSION The new model of hospital medicine education under the background of "run once at most reform" can improve the level of pharmaceutical services rapidly, reduce patients' treat time, and promote rational drug usage. Patients can benefit from this convenient and high quality pharmaceutical service.
