Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the occurrence of adverse drug reactions(ADRs) caused by olanzapine, and then explore its influencing factors. METHODS A total of 1 691 patients with mental disorders treated in Xiamen Mental Health Center were selected to monitor the occurrence of olanzapine ADRs in the treatment process, and the related influencing factors of olanzapine ADRs were studied by single-factor and multi-factor analysis. RESULTS Olanzapine had a higher incidence of ADRs(33.83%). Patients with liver disease history and taking high-dose drugs(>10 mg) were risk factors for ADRs through multivariate unconditional Logistic regression analysis, and the OR values were 1.824(95% CI:1.155-2.882) and 4.910(95% CI:3.943-6.113), respectively. CONCLUSION Patients with liver disease history and high dose of drugs(> 10 mg) are the high-risk groups for ADRs induced by olanzapine.
