OBJECTIVE To explore the service modes of clinical pharmacists who participate in clinical drug treatment for patients with hepatic insufficiency. METHODS Combining with the specific cases of patients with hepatic insufficiency, the work contents and methods with which clinical pharmacists participate in clinical drug treatment were analyzed. RESULTS Clinical pharmacists identified and analyzed drug-induced liver injury, assisted physicians in formulating drug treatment plans and carried out consultation and pharmaceutical care for patients with hepatic insufficiency, which could be as entry points for them to participate in clinical drug treatment. CONCLUSION Clinical pharmacists take advantage of their own strengths to provide pharmaceutical care for patients with medical workers, embody their own value to further promote clinical drug use safely, effectively and reasonably.
