Impact of Clinical Pharmacist in Multiple Disciplinary Team Building of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery

The construction of enhanced recovery after surgery in a multiple disciplinary team(ERAS-MDT) is still in the process of exploration. The patient-centered, multi-disciplinary model of medical-medicine-care is considered to be the development direction of the ERAS-MDT team. Clinical pharmacists carry out clinical pharmacy work centered on patient-centered and rational drug use in the team's clinical strategy around ERAS. It plays an important role in perioperative pain management, thrombosis management, nutritional support treatment, blood glucose management, et al, and plays an important role in promoting the process of accelerating rehabilitation surgery. This article reviewed the role and working mode of clinical pharmacists at home and abroad in various aspects of ERAS, aiming to provide reference for clinical pharmacists in this field.
