Abstract
OBJECTIVE To adjust the treatment regimen, the clinical pharmacist involved in the treatment of one patient with pulmonary fungal infection treated with voriconazole, who provide information support for the individualized medication of complicated patients. METHODS Clinical pharmacist used therapeutic drug monitoring and genetic testing as technical support, pharmacy guidelines and literature as information support to provide suggestion for clinicians and improve the therapeutic effect. RESULTS During the course of treatment, the clinical pharmacist recommended adjustments for medication according to the patient's condition, and formulated individualized treatment plans with clinicians to save medical expenses and improve patient compliance. CONCLUSION Some patients have long treatment course and complex combination of drugs in clinical practice. Therapeutic drug monitoring, genetic testing and other technologies can provide technical support for individualized medication. And the participation of clinical pharmacist also can provide some support for individualized medication.
