Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish a method for determination of borneol, methyleugenol and eugenol in Kelisha capsules by GC. METHODS Using the direct injection by GC, the column was Agilent HP-INNOWAX capillary column, FID was used as detector with a temperature of 250℃, and the inlet temperature was 210℃, using the temperature program. The flow rate was 1.2 mL·min-1, split ratio was 15︰1 and the volume was 1 μL. RESULTS Borneol, methyleugenol and eugenol were separated with a good linearity in the concentration of 48.59-728.88 μg·mL-1 (r=0.999) for borneol, 4.29-64.39 μg·mL-1 (r=0.999) for methyleugenol, and 31.83-477.48 μg·mL-1 (r=0.999) for eugenol. RSDs of precision, stability and reproducibility tests were ≤ 2.17%. The average recoveries for borneol, methyleugenol and eugenol were 98.69% (RSD=0.3%), 93.10% (RSD=1.6%) and 99.41% (RSD=0.5%). CONCLUSION The method is simple, accurate and reproducible, and can be used in the quality control of Kelisha capsules.
