Abstract
OBJECTIVE To determine the content of phenoxyethanol in Siwei Zhenceng Bingpeng Eye Drops by HPLC. METHODS The separation was performed with a DIKMA Diamonsil C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm), the mobile phase was methanol-water (50︰50) at the flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1, the wavelength of detection was 268 nm, the column temperature was 30℃. RESULTS Good liner relationship of phenoxyethanol was in the range of 5.43-163.04 μg·mL-1 (r=1.000 0), and the average recovery was 100.3%, RSD was 1.1%. CONCLUSION The method is simple, accurate, high precision and can be used to determine the content of phenoxyethanol in Siwei Zhenceng Bingpeng Eye Drops.
