    Effectiveness of Clinical Pharmacists Participating in the Discussion of Senile Severe Cases

    • OBJECTIVE To discuss the effectiveness of clinical pharmacist participating in the discussion of elderly severe cases. METHODS Collect 90 cases of elderly severe cases, retrospectively summarize the clinical pharmacists recommended by the drug program and the use of doctors, as well as disease outcome, discharge information. RESULTS The clinical pharmacists proposed a total of 620 recommendations for the use of medications in 90 patients. The rate of adoption by clinicians was 59.4%. The reasons for not being adopted were more concentrated. In summary, the participation of clinical pharmacists in diagnosis and treatment can improve the outcome of treatment. CONCLUSION Regarding the clinical adoption rate and effectiveness of drug regimens, clinical pharmacists need to fully understand the differences between the clinical and their own deficiencies, and strive to maximize the rational use of drugs.
