Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the utilization of fuzzy matter-element model in evaluating the quality of Gentiana officinalis H.Smith. METHODS Evaluating the quality of Gentiana officinalis H.Smith from different producing areas by determining five main compositions contained in the samples with fuzzy matter-element model based on variation coefficient weight. RESULTS The quality of Getiana officinalis H.Smith collected from 10 producing areas was evaluated based on the euclid approach degrees. The values of euclid approach degrees were divided into three ranges based on grades of samples to control and evaluate the quality of Gentiana officinalis H.Smith. CONCLUSION Fuzzy matter-element model based on variation coefficient weight can judge the quality of Gentiana officinalis H.Smith objectively and feasibly.
