Effect of Bimin Kang decoction combined with Ebastine Tablets on the treatment of allergic rhinitis and serum levels of inflammatory factors Analysis

OBJECTIVE To explore curative effect of Bimin Kang decoction combined with Ebastine tablets on allergic rhinitis, and to analyze the serum levels of inflammatory factors. METHODS The 120 outpatients were selected from March 2016 to March 2017, and were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, 60 cases in each group. Control group given Ebastine tablet once a day, 10 mg·d^-1. The treatment group was given Bimin Kang decoction on the basis of control group. Two groups were treated for 4 weeks. The curative effect of two groups of patients with symptom scores and serum indicators(IL-4, IL-12, IFN-γ, IL-4/IFN-γ, IgE) and recurrence rate were observed. RESULTS After treatment, in the treatment group 32 cases were markedly effective, 20 cases were effective, the total effective rate was 86.67%; in the control group 14 cases were markedly effective, 26 cases were effective, the total effective rate was 66.67%; the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). The scores of the individual symptoms and the total scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before the treatment(P<0.01), and the treatment group was better than the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). Two groups of patients with serum IgE and IL-4 levels were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01), IL-12, IFN-γ levels were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.01), the improvement degree of serum improvement in treatment group was better than that in control group, the difference between two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05). The recurrence rate of the treatment group was 5.77% and 9.62%, after the follow-up of 3 months and 6 months, and the control group were 35% and 55%. The recurrence rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.01). CONCLUSION Bimin Kang decoction combined with Ebastine tablets on allergic rhinitis has better clinical curative effect, can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms, improve the level of cytokines, and has a good long-term effect, which is worthy of clinical application.
