Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish the HPLC fingerprint chromatogram of Cimicifugae Rhizoma and Cimicifuga Species Root formula granules, so as to provide basis for quality control and process evaluation of Cimicifugae Rhizoma and Cimicifuga Species Root formula granules. METHODS HPLC was performed on C18 column with the mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile and 0.1% phosphoric acid solution in gradient mode. The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1. Under the temperature of 30℃, with a detection wavelength of 254 nm. RESULTS The components of Cimicifugae Rhizoma and Cimicifuga Species Root formula granules could be separated well using HPLC. The developed method was precise, reproducible and stable. And 6 main peak of the chromatogram were chemical composition identified. CONCLUSION The established method is simple, accurate and reproducible in the components determination of Cimicifugae Rhizoma and Cimicifuga Species Root formula granules, which can be used for the quality control and process evaluation.
