Investigation and Rationally Analysis of Off-label Drug Use of GLP-1 Receptor Agonist

OBJECTIVE To investigate the situation of off-label drug use of GLP-1 receptor agonist, so as to promote rational clinical drug use. METHODS By a retrospective survey method, all inpatients in Endocrine Department used GLP-1 receptor agonist from December 3, 2015 to December 14, 2016 were selected, and the situation of off-label drug use was analyzed. RESULTS A total of 51 cases were analyzed, 97 had off-label drug use. The main type of off-label drug use were 47(48.45%) in indications, especially in drug combination, and 50(51.55%) in dose. CONCLUSION The off-label drug use of GLP-1 receptor agonist was common in clinical, and some were reasonable and necessary; yet there were still some irrational phenomenon, which need the close attention by the clinic.
