    Simultaneous Determination of Five Constituents in Qiangli Tianma Duzhong Capsules by UPLC-Q-TOF/MS

    • OBJECTIVE To establish an UPLC-Q-TOF/MS method for the simultaneous determination of the five major constituents (gastrodin, geniposidic acid, pinoresinol diglucoside, benzoylmesaconine and osthole) in Qiangli Tianma Duzhong capsules. METHODS The chromatographic separation was carried out on a Waters ACQUITY UPLC CORTECSTM C18 column(4.6 mm×150 mm, 2.7 μm) eluted in a gradient program. The mobile phase consisted of water containing acetonitrile (A) and 0.1% formic acid (B) with electrospray ionization source in both negative and positive modes. The mass scan range was 50-1 200 Da. RESULTS The five constituents showed good linear relationships within the ranges (r2 ≥ 0.997 4), whose average recoveries were in the range of 99.533%-107.525%, the RSD ≤ 2.56%. CONCLUSION This method shows good reproducibility and is very rapid and simple, which can be used for the quality control of Qiangli Tianma Duzhong capsules.
