    Research on the Quality Standard for Jiexin Huatan Tongqiao Cataplasm

    • OBJECTIVE To establish a quality standard for Jiexin Huatan Tongqiao cataplasm. METHODS Semen Brassicae, Corydalis Rhizoma, Kansui Radix and Asari Radix et Rhizoma were identified by TLC, and the contents of sinapine thiocyanate, tetrahydropalmatine, asarinin were determined by HPLC. RESULTS The spots on the thin layer plate were clear, had good separation and the negative solution had no interference. The experiment showed good linear relationship in the range of 20.2-202.0 μg·mL-1(r=0.999 4) for sinapine thiocyanate, 1.312-20.992 μg·mL-1 (r=0.999 7) for tetrahydropalmatine, 1.925-38.500 μg·mL-1(r=0.999 4) for asarinin. The average recovery of sinapine thiocyanate was 99.06%, with RSD of 2.20%; the average recovery of tetrahydropalmatine was 98.66%,with RSD of 2.35%; the average recovery of asarinin was 99.75%, with RSD of 1.74%. CONCLUSION The method is simple, accurate and reproducible, so it can be used to control the quality of Jiexin Huatan Tongqiao cataplasm.
