Abstract
As one of the main means for cancer therapy, the biggest drawback of chemotherapy is that most of chemotherapeutics can't target tumor, resulting in high toxicity to normal tissues and unsatisfied treatment effect. In order to overcome this problem, a growing number of polymeric nanocarriers have been studied to deliver antineoplastic drugs, including those self-assembled to nanoparticles showing a change in physic-chemical properties in response to a temperature stimulus. This paper summarize the recent research progress of thermoresponsive polymers and their self-assembled nanoparticles, and introduce their application in anticancer drug delivery.
