Research Progress of Strontium Ranelate, an Anti-osteoporosis Drug

Strontium ranalate is an anti-osteoporosis drug with both promoting bone formation and inhibiting bone resorption effects, can provide outstanding clinical benefits for the patients. The paper systematically reviewed the basic and cilincial studies of strontium ranalate. The adverse reaction as well as new applications of strontium ranelate have also been discussed to lay the foundation for further experimental and clinical study.
