Pharmaceutical Practice of Clinical Pharmacist Participating in Diagnosis and Treatment for Drug Fever Induced by Piperacillin Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium

OBJECTIVE to ensure the safety and effectiveness of patient medication, the pharmaceutical practice model on clinical pharmacist participating in diagnosis and treatment for drug fever was discussed. METHODS The process data of clinical pharmacists involving in diagnosis and treatment for a case of drug fever induced by piperacillin sodium and sulbactam sodium were analyized, and the diagnosis and treatment of drug fever was introduced. RESULTS The drug fever was distinguished and diagnosed on the basis of clinical characteristics and the results of laboratory tests. The related drugs was withdrawed and drug fever disappeared. CONCLUSION Clinical pharmacist participating in diagnosis and treatment for drug fever can ensure safety usage and promote clinical rational drug use.
