    Influence of Sophoridine on Proliferation and Caspase-3/bcl-2/bax Signaling Pathway of Human Pancreatic Cancer Cell Line Capan-1 Cells

    • OBJECTIVE To explore the effects and mechanisms of sophoridine on human pancreatic cancer cell line capan-1. METHODS MTT, Hoechst33342 staining and flow cytometric analysis were used to evaluate the proliferation, apoptosis and cell cycle percentage. Western-blot assay were used to evaluate expression of caspase-3/bcl-2/bax protein. RESULTS Sophoridine could induce the proliferation inhibition, apoptosis and the expression of bcl-2 and pro-caspase-3 with increasing S/G2 percentage and the expression of bax on capan-1 cell in a concentration dependent manner. CONCLUSION Sophoridine can induce the apoptosis of capan-1 cell by regulating caspase-3/bcl-2/bax signaling pathway.
