Abstract
OBJECTIVE To determine the enantiomer of Iopmamidol by a supercritical fluid chromatography(SFC) method. METHODS A Chiralpak OD-H chiral column was used, with CO2-methanol mixture(89:11) as the mobile phase, at the detection wavelength of 242 nm. RESULTS The linear calibration for the R-iopamidol was in the range of 0.2-1.2 mg·mL-1, the precision was 1.2%, and recovery was 103.7%(RSD=0.7%). Good resolution of R-iopamidol and its S-iopamidol was achieved. CONCLUSION The SFC method has been developed for quality control, and detection of R-iopamidol of iopamidol with sensitivity and specificity.
