Study on Quality Evaluation of Arctii Fructus Produced in Gansu

OBJECTIVE To study on quality evaluation of Arctii Fructus produced in Gansu to provide technical support for specifications of quality. METHODS Arctinin and arctigenin were detected by HPLC. Total lignanoids was detected by UV, and the fatty oil was detected by ether extractum. RESULTS The collected samples produced in Gansu were reach the standard of "China Pharmacopoeia". The content of arctinin, arctigenin, total lignanoids and fatty oil of Arctii Fructus produced in Dingxi, Lintao, Qingyang, Hezheng and Gannan were not less than samples of Jilin and other origins. CONCLUSION Arctii Fructus can be a new product introduction choice of Gansu. And the study also provide technical support for specifications of quality of Arctii Fructus produced in Gansu.
