Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC method for determination of dexamethasone palmitate in nanofiber membrane for ocular application. METHODS The chromatographic analysis was performed on a Diamosil C
18 column (150 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) at 40 ℃. The mobile phase was 100% methanol. Flow rate was 1.0 mL·min
-1 and detection wavelength was 239 nm, injection volume was 20 μL. RESULTS Good liner relationship was obtained in the range of 0.1-5 μg·mL
-1(r=0.999 5). Both intra- and inter-day precision RSD were <2%(n=5). The average recovery rate was 99.89% with RSD of 1.15% (n=15). CONCLUSION The established method is sensitive, reliable and suitable for assay of dexamethasone palmitate in nanofiber membrane for ocular application.
