Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To establish the method for determination of galic acid, brervifolincaboxylic acid and ellagic acid in Phyllanthus niruri Linn. METHODS HPLC separation was carried on Shimazu C
18(150 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) column with mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile and 0.1% phosphoric acid in a program of gradient elution. Flow rate: 0.8 mL·min
-1, column temperature: room temperature, and the detection wavelength was 270 nm. RESULTS The linear range of galic acid, brervifolincaboxylic acid and ellagic acid were 0.6-9.6 μg, 0.525-8.4 μg, 0.475-7.6 μg, respectively; and the content of them in Phyllanthus niruri Linn were 0.196 2%, 0.518 2%, 0.411 0%, respectively. CONCLUSION The developed method is simple, accurate and feasible. It’s suitable for the determination of galic acid, brervifolincaboxylic acid and ellagic acid in Phyllanthus niruri Linn.
