Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To find the relationship between the traditional Chinese medicine nature and the property of functions and indication based on the technology of data mining. METHODS Data sources from text books such as "Chinese Pharmacopoeia", "Traditional Chinese Pharmacology", "Pharmacy"(reference)", "The Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbal Essence”, "Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medicine" and "New Traditional Chinese Medicine", etc. were collected which were combined with the empirical clinical medication to build the Chinese medicine database including the data of traditional Chinese medicine nature, functions and indication. Firstly, data model was built. Secondly, data of traditional Chinese medicine nature, flavour, channel tropism, function and indications were analyzed. Finally, relationships were analyzed. RESULTS Closely frequent itemsets in nature-flavour-channel tropism, nature-flavour-channel tropism-function and nature-flavour-channel tropism-function-indication were found, and the support and support rate in these properties were calculated. CONCLUSION Analyzing the relationship between the traditional Chinese medicine natures can provide a reference for the research of traditional Chinese medicine.
